The "I Am an Artist Program" teaches advanced, international art techniques to children around the world. We work in schools and libraries in communities without access to arts education and help children create the world.
The Artivism! program gets our children busy creating art for the community. Being it a soup kitchen, a hospital, a non-profit or a community garden; our children know how to uplift and beautify any location with Social Art.
Art and Spanish/Art and English
In an Art and English class, children in Mexico learn new English vocabulary words, read a story with an American Artistic Dreams teacher online and create art based on the story. Topics range from Building Confidence to Inclusion.
Animation and Coding
In our digital Animation and Coding class, children first learn how to handle Photo Shop, then continue to learn how to create free art forms to animate. Students graduate into a Coding class.
The Artistic Dreams International Choir teaches children to express themselves and have confidence through songs from around the world. Our student not only create music, they learn about other cultures at the same time.
Video Art and Technology
Video Art and Technology teaches children different skills through a tablet. Children create their own video, stop motion animation, as well as different art forms to put on video. Topics range from the Environment to Immigration.
In our Theater program, children learn how to put on a show! Topics are selected from our World Awareness curriculum where children assist in creating a story that teaches how to better care for our world.
Yoga and Movement
Yoga and Movement teaches children how to relax and de-stress. We teach our students the skills to self-soothe and stay centered in order to feel good. We have imparted this course to children without permanent housing in NYC.
